Slavoj Zizek (Συγγραφέας)

Ο Slavoj Zizek γεννήθηκε το 1949 στη Σλοβενία. Είναι διδάκτωρ φιλοσοφίας και ψυχανάλυσης, έχει εργαστεί στο Ινστιτούτο Κοινωνικών Επιστημών του Πανεπιστημίου της Λιουμπλιάνας και σήμερα διευθύνει το Διεθνές Κέντρο Ανθρωπιστικών Σπουδών στο Κολέγιο Birkbeck του Πανεπιστημίου του Λονδίνου. Το συγγραφικό και ερευνητικό του έργο είναι πολυδιάστατο και πολύπλευρο. Σημαντικό μέρος του επικεντρώνεται στην ανάδειξη της ριζοσπαστικής πολιτικής και φιλοσοφικής σημασίας της λακανικής ψυχανάλυσης.
